About the company
Alkar is a family company established on 1st February 1993 striving to continue in every good tradition of Jablonec producers’ of glass and fashion jewellery.
At the very beginning our company was
engaged mainly in production and sales of buttons. Today, we produce glass and fashion jewellery from
the tin, zinc and pinchbeck alloys in different galvanic finishes and with various glass accessories. In
effect, the range includes all common types of products: necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches,
rings, hat pins, hairpins, hair bands, rosaries, functional and decorative part of cloths and shoes. Our
production is based on both our and customer’s designed patterns.
Production of buttons was the major program for the company development. Buttons were supplied to exclusive customers in Germany and Italy. Even today, buttons are produced by an independent division.
Another production division engages in the production of souvenirs, badges, tankards, medals, art castings and key rings.
Newly developed part is the production of machine parts, furniture fittings and locksmith equipment.
We import the tin and
zinc alloys for the production and needs of some of our customers.
